The Martini Club

I have not yet begun to defile myself.

"It's a little too grown-upy."

— Said by Olivia, age 5, in response to the evening's venue.

What's significant about this is not that my five-year-old was at martini night. It's that my five-year-old represented fully one-third of all attendees for the evening.

Tinis... I don't think I need to tell you how disappointing this is.

If this dreadful attendance continues, our next martini night will no doubt take place at Chuck E. Cheese.

Stay the course!

MMMMmm Chuck E. Cheese sounds AWESOME!!!! HA. Nothing says HAPPY BIRTHDAY MARTINI CLUB like creepy robotic animals "playing" instruments. I'll try to make it to October Martini Club.

Yeah - The September date was problematic for me as well as I *just* got back from an exhausting conference in Toronto on the Thursday prior. Combine that with a miscommunication w/husband and no baby care coverage = no attendance by me. Boo to me. We're going to change that this month.

You most definitely have a legit excuse.

As for Chuck Martin Es? I'll have to investigate that. Pretty sure they've got lousy draft beer at least.

Do they serve martini's at Chuck E. Cheese?

I feel no guilt - I had a very good excuse - but this month would mark our one year anniversary, no? I feel very confident that I will be able to attend.
