Cranberry Ornament Martini

Fill martini glasses with ice and water to chill.

Ingredients:

10 oz (1 ¼ c) cranberry juice ( I use light)

2 ½ c vodka

7.5 oz lemon juice

5 oz honey mixed with 1 ¼ c. hot water

5 oz simple syrup*

Cranberries

Nutmeg

Some of you may remember that last year our venerable, affable, arguably certifiable and inarguably adorable Barkeep added charitable to her list of ably suffixed adjectives when she challenged the rest of us martini swilling slobs sophisticates to raise money for the Food Banks of Central Ohio. JennyMac's POM-oh-come-to-Mama-tini

Fill your shaker with ice.

Take your martini glass and draw a circle just below the inside rim with chocolate syrup.

Into your shaker pour:

2/3 POMx Iced Coffee (I used vanilla)
1/3 vodka
1/3 Lady Godiva White Chocolate Liqueur

Shake it like a poloroid picture.

Pour. Sip. Enjoy. Repeat.… Continue

I just had to share this story.

My sister and I regularly schlep pizzas at a local shop that can brag on its great pizza and the fun live music it frequently showcases. What it cannot brag on is its bar. Which is ok. It's a pizza shop first, the bar is very secondary. Most people want a cold beer with their pizza and we can accommodate them with that.
